green juice recipeToday I am sharing with you all the recipe of one of the best detox juices made with fresh ingredients. I am in love with the colour and the nutritional benefits of this green juice. This healthy juice gets that brilliant green colour from kale and coriander leaves. The benefits of this green juice are many. It keeps us hydrated, flushes out the toxins from our body and provides vital vitamins & minerals. Most of the ingredients used for preparing this juice are believed to have cancer-fighting substances. I make this atleast twice a week.

I adapted this recipe from Foodbabe and made some changes to suit my taste. You can try various combinations and stick to the one you like. I always feel fresh and energetic after drinking this juice. Always take time to drink fresh juices. While drinking each sip should be mixed with saliva to obtain the maximum benefits from the juice. Blend kale, celery, coriander leaves, cucumber, ginger & lemon juice → Strain if required → Add honey or (salt + roasted cumin powder) → Serve immediately.


  • A small bunch of Kale (2 stalks with leaves)
  • 2 stalks Celery
  • A handful of Coriander Leaves
  • 1 medium size Cucumber
  • 1/2″ piece Ginger
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice
  • Honey or (Salt + Roasted Cumin Powder) as required

How to make Green Juice?

1. Get ready with all the ingredients.

2. Submerge the kale and coriander leaves in clean water for sometime and let all the dirt settle down. Wash the leaves thoroughly twice or thrice.
3. Peel the cucumber and ginger. Chop them roughly.
4. Wash the celery sticks and cut into pieces.
5. Add the kale and coriander leaves at the bottom of a clean blender. Add the cucumber, ginger and celery on top. Pour the lemon juice and blend until smooth.
6. You may strain the juice if required.
7. Add honey or (salt + roasted cumin powder) for taste. If you like the natural taste, you can skip this.
8. Mix everything well and serve immediately. Enjoy each sip of the healthy green juice and stay healthy!


  • Use fresh ingredients and clean them thoroughly.
  • Try to serve immediately. You can also refrigerate the juice and use within one day after preparation.
