Though eating chopped fruits is better than juicing them, sometimes we prefer to have a glass of juice on a hot sunny day. The store-bought canned juices are the fruit juices treated with a lot of chemicals to preserve them. They can do nothing to improve our health. The taste and health benefits of homemade fruit juices cannot be compared with the readymade juices available in the market.

This orange juice is one of the simplest juice recipes that you can try at home. In spite of the simplicity, I am posting it here for the beginners in cooking. The process is easy and straightforward. Use firm and fresh fruits for juicing. Serve the juice immediately after juicing. If possible, finish everything on the same day. If you are going to refrigerate the leftover juice, use it within the next day. Don’t use the juice beyond that. Serve this refreshing orange juice that is rich in Vitamin C to boost your immune system.

  • Sugar or palm sugar may be added instead of honey. But honey is a healthier choice.
  • If the oranges are sweet, you dont have to add any sweetener.
  • Serve this juice immediately after juicing.
  • You may leave out the ginger and make plain orange juice.
